There is up to a $25 activation fee when you initialize your Prepaid Verizon Wireless cell phone. I started my Verizon Prepaid phone at a Verizon store and purchased a $30 card at the same time. The individual who helped me did not charge me an activation fee. I spent $79.95 on the phone.

Verizon Wireless provides one of the biggest and most reliable cell networks in the nation. Verizon Wireless now offers Pay as you go Wireless services.

The Verizon Prepaid “Basic Plan” with 25 cents per minute with no daily access fee. The Verizon Wireless Basic plan is not competitive with any of the other prepay plans. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.

Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are better alternatives.

The Prepaid Verizon Core Plan charges 99 cents per day for access and calls are 10 cents per minute. The 99 cent per day Core plan gives you unlimited calling to any Verizon Wireless phone. Currently this is over 80 million phones. I used this program for almost a year, if most of your phone calls are generally with Verizon Wireless phones this is often a good plan. The most useful benefit of the Core plan is for 99 cents a day you can speak to anyone with Verizon Wireless .

The Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. Basically this will be the same as the Core plan with Unlimited Nites and Weekends added and you will only pay 5 cents per text to receive and send.

The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Pay as you go Verizon Wireless Calling Features

Conversion Verizon Wireless Prepaid to Contract Service

Your Verizon Prepay cell phone can be converted to a Contract phone if you have used it for six months or more as a prepaid phone. You will not have to sign a contract to add this to a contract. I was able to add one to a Verizon contract for $10 a month without signing a one year or two year contract. This worked well for me, a Long Term Contract rate without a long term contract.

Tracfone Wireless Yearly Mobile Plan

Tracfone has two yearly plans. They sell a $100 one year unit card that includes Four hundred units (800 if you have Double Minutes for Life. If you only get 800 units when addiing card you will only pay 12.5 cent units and only $9 per month service.

Additionally offered by Tracfone.com is a $200 yearly plan. This card gives you 1500 units (3000 with the Minute Doubler installed and also a year of service time. With DMFL these units will have cost 6.6 cents each and your per month cost is under $17 monthly.
